no comparison...if you look at it 2013-2014 team so far looks like it has way more talent.

If that's the case then the 2013-14 team will end up fighting for the 8th seed.

    Not good!

    i think we will....

If that's the case then the Celts are better off going after LaMarcus Aldridge.

does he want to come here? we have to show people that we want to win first...we show people we want to win people will come...if you look at it we have a good team...it's not solid it's good...who knows who we are going to get with the trades comming?

I'm with you on that one.

Aldridge and Olynyk would make a great team.

It's true that the issue might be Aldridge doesn't want to come to Boston.

but once he get traded, theres no chance he can refuse to it, right? once we land LA, we could do more trades or anything just to make the team lil better, right?

if celts get LA now. i mean we have two years including this coming season to fill the spots and make legit contender. i think he will stay and sign an extension

    Re: 1997-98 Comparison

the main trouble , as I see it ,with getting Aldrdige is who do WE have that Portland wants?

they've said more draft picks are not what they are looking for.

they don't need guards there so Rondo , Lee , bradley or any of the lesser guards are out.

they certainy won;t take a deal that centers around Bass!!

    Sully ?

    and who or what?

we'd have to dump enough salary to take on LA's $14M right?

    Sully, Humphries & a first?

seems like a VERY hard sell to Portland to me.

anyone else see a way that makes sense to both teams?

I still believe the Rondo to Detroit deal migth end up becoming an option for Ainge.

Getitng Monroe AND Knight puts the Celtics in the same re-build local as getting LA to me.
