2 years ago we thought Bradley was a bust...

Look how he has improved his game!

I hope Sully, Olynyk, Bass, Green, Hump,Rondo and Pressey continue to become better players.

I dont think we need Bayless moving forward. Id take a second rounder for him myself. Take a stab at Heslip, Wragge or Russ Smith instead.

Speaking of the draft. Our bench would look very good with some Baylor players.

Im a fan of Corey Jefferson, Isaiah Austin, Prince and Heslip.

I like Rico Suave too. (Rico Gathers) BEAST!!!

I personally never thought he was a bust, but Doc tried giving him too many minutes at PG and it affected his game.  Injuries didn't help him either.  I do not think he is a true combo guard, but I can understand why they tried him at the 1 because he can guard either position.  When they decided to keep him primarily at the 2 it's clear a weight was lifted from his shoulders.

He looks good lately but sometimes we forget how he can look good for a stretch and reverts back to be really bad for another stretch.  He has his good streak and bad streak, maybe he already turned that around and become a more consistent player.  Or maybe he is just not durable and can't play well for a long stretch and breaks down and becomes a mediocre player after hitting a wall.

It is good for him that he plays well now and the rest of the season, but that also might mean that he would be too expensive for Ainge to keep.  The draft might land us a good SG and make him expendable.

Bass must go because he's not part of the future plans.

Hump will leave to sign a big contract with another team.

And Rondo is going to get traded on draft night.

Probably wrong on two of the three predictions.Nothing new here.

What do you think Ainge will do if the price is 4 years 32 millions or more?

No way AB gets 32m for 4 years.

The most is 30m for 4 years, but that's a stretch.

I think AB will settle for 28m for 4 years.

When can people make him an offer?  Is it before or after the draft?

I dont remember anyone having good feelings about AB his first couple years... he was horrible. When he finally started to show some signs of real improvement, he got injurse...

Then our then nitwit HC Doc decided the pile on PG duties to the green, unPG skilled AB.. probably set him back a few more years.

Re: 2 years ago we thought Bradley was a bust...

I've always been an AB fan, he brings a lot to the table. My only concern with AB is he seems to be injury prone.  4@28 is probably what he'll get from us or someone else. There isn't any SG FAs that jump out at me this offseason other than Ariza and he plays more 3 than 2. If we draft a G with our first pick AB is probably a goner. I like Bayless as a backup at both guard spots, if he stays without overpaying, I would be good with that.

    How can you say this?

Bass is the same age as Rondo. He's on an affordable contract. Why is he not part of future plans?

I guarentee that Rondo is not traded on draft night

Re: 2 years ago we thought Bradley was a bust...

AB is 22; if he was a rookie he'd be a ROY candidate. Very good player who is having an up year. I always liked his game because it started with defense, which helps win games. I also predicted his shot would fall as the nervousness went away (he was 19 when he first played in the NBA)...as for the rest; who will be here next year, the only thing I think is safe to say is Danny will not trade himself, everyone else I would guess could be had for the right price. I think Rondo is a star who will atract other star FAs (e.g., Carmelo) if the rebuild is more of the 2007-2008 variety of trading picks and up-and-comers (Sully, Oly, AB) for established stars (Love).

Bradley is too small to play the two, and he is not a point guard.

    Let someone else overpay him.
