5 Games Left- How Many of Them Will Boston Win?

    Here is Boston's remaining schedule:

    Apr 9 @ Atlanta

    Apr 11 vs Char

    Apr 12 @ Clev

    Apr 14 @ Philly

    Apr 16 vs Wash

They should win all 5.  I'll bet that they'll lose all 4.  Brad Stevens needs to get a good look at Joel Anthony, right?  (hint hint wink wink)

Boston is only 1 game behind Orlando for the third worst record.  And while Orlando's record is slightly more difficult, it's not that much more difficult- all of their opponents are from the Eastern Conference (Brook, Wash, Chi, Ind).  And they play Indy on the last day of the season- wouldn't be a surprise if Indy rests their starters.

It's a good probability that it is zero.  Philly at home with their position for the draft set is a toss up game.  Unfortunately Orlando has a much tougher games left so we probably has no chance of catching them.  We just need to fend of Utah at this point.

What happens if we finish tied with Orlando for 3rd worst record?

They will get the same amount of ping pong balls as the Celtics by averaging the number of ping pong balls allocated to the two draft positions.  If the number combined is odd, they will flip the coin for the last ping pong ball.

Aside from the # of PP balls in the tumbler, it think it means we really, really suck!

And given that we really, really suck, I say, given that guys are deflated right now, there's a gooid chance we loose them all, and certainly the road games....2-3 at best

    Coin flip.

They split the ping pong balls for that position (3&4)
If neither gets drawn in the top 3 then they do the coin flip.

Boston wins one at most though on paper could win three.

Wonder what DA thinks about this situation?  Obviously, he'd love it Boston loses all 5 games.  And I'm sure Brad Stevens understands that- but, they can't get caught trying not to win.

Imagine the controversy if the C's were accused of NOT trying to close out a game?  Imagine how it would impact the gambling world?  Bettors learn that Boston is making an effort to lose?  A scandal such as this could be deadly.

1 down 4 to go.  Thanks Orlando!  All we need to do is lose at home to the Bobcats, right?

there's a good chance that Orlando beats a tired Brooklyn team on Wednesday. Brooklyn travels to Miami on Tuesday and then up to Orlando on Wednesday. back-to-back away games are never easy.

    Good call.

If you wagered on a Wednesday night Magic-Nets games, Shirley you've got some bets lined up for this evening--  Who do you like tonight?  How much are you wagering?  And who are you betting with?
