    about jump shooters

Larry Bird was a jump shooter first, but the big difference between him and PP and KG is Bird would follow his shot even though he had 2 great big men under the boards. And if he wasn't shooting, he sure as hell was going to look for a rebound. On defense, he knew to box out his man. I'm sure his coaches never had to tell him this. Fundamentals!  Are we to believe that Doc instructs his team to high tail it back on defense as soon as the ball leaves your hands, or this is how they choose to play?

Man I miss the work ethic LB brought to the game, and how it rubbed off on the rest of the team.
