    Allen Iverson?? PLEASE!!

C'mon, I know the writers have to throw something onto the pages to keep their job and seem important & insightful but... dont even start with Iverson to the C's.

Oh look, his agent telling everyone how he's changed his ways again, for the 55th time. He sees things differently now, its all good.

We have enough issues on the team with certain players. What would worsen the situation is bringing the pouting Iverson here to totally crumble the franchise imo.

Even if we were that one little spark off the bench away from competing for a title (which we arent imo), Iverson should not be a consideration. We probably would have Rondo insulted and paranoid, coiling up into an introverted shell... then 1/2 way thru the season, Iverson would revert to his usual routine that he needs more time on the court, hes a legend blah, blah blah. How many times is Iverson going to profess he's changed his ways?

Always admired the skills, never impressed with the person or attitude.

Karl, as always, you put it in perspective......if he really wanted a championship ring and put his ego aside, he might be a good scorer off the bench....but didn't we already try this with Nate..?  ....and, at his age, could he stay healthy...?

Who in their right mind wants a troubled, 38 year old, 5ft 10 inch guard who has been out of the NBA for over two years now.  Crazy talk.

I loved his heart, his fire, his skills, and his ability to come from a very bad neighborhood/influence/poverty and to make it to the top of the league.  But, he doesn't have the defensive skills, the passing desire, and no longer the offensive skills to help us.  In addition, he's an old (by NBA standards) body that won't hold up and that's the last thing we need (ala Shaq, JON, etc)!

Love him but he's done.  Can't help us.

I say you can't teach an old dog new tricks on this one. He's been many things, tough, ton of talent, and so on, but he's never been a team player.  Oh ya, and he is a slower 38 with diminished skills when his greatest skill was his quickness.
