    Another Great Move!

Danny why is it you keep signing Mediocre or Under Achivers or Has Beens? Now we have another small forward that does not have a dependable out side shot. We need a big powerful forward with a dependable outside shot ( a go to guy who can make it in crunch time). Not another small forward who is a mediocre at best and is going to eat up more salary so we can not get the true Big Powere Forward we really need instead of someone that no one else would want in a trade situation. Come on Danny be patient wait for the right deal to come that will improve our team

Peanuts or not that is because his market valve is low  you get what you pay for and we do not need another small forward we already have to many. Some will get no playing time because of the overage. Why not have the whole team be small forwards.

Because the whole team is already made up of short PFs and even shorter 2 guards. Lol.

We actually are pretty balanced positionally now. 2 PGs, (Rondo, Pressey) 1 PG/SG (Smart) 4 SGs (Bradley, Thornton, Babb) 3 SG/SFs,(Turner, Young, Johnson) 2 SFs, (Green, Wallace) 1 PF (Bass) 2 PF/C (Sully, Olynyk) 3 Cs (Zeller, Faverani, Anthony).

They just aren't balanced talent wise.

Let's see how you feel after he's gunning with a low shooting percentage, rebounding less than Green, unable to defend, and fighting with teammates!

    Hahaha, fighting with teammates.

What's this, revisionist history?  All the reports said that Lance was the cancer in the Indy locker room, not Evan.

Do you have any reports indicating Turner was a problem in Philly?  If not, put a cork in it!

I agree - I think the knucklehead days are over for the Green.  Probably why we didn't go after Lance in the first place

    Re: Another Great Move!

The big knock on Turner is that he's a poor shooter/scorer.

    Career Stats...

    • 3FG%: 32.6% (on only 1.7 attempts per 36 minutes)
    • 2FG%: 44.2% (shooting struggles away from the rim 3'+ out)
    • FTA/36: 2.9 (rarely gets to the line diminishing his 77% career FT%)
    • Pts/36: 13.8

    The Bright Side...

    • as a former #2 overall pick (2010) Turner's a bust, but for only a one year deal he's a low risk/high reward for the Cs
    • for a wing, he's a good defensive rebounder (career 18.5 DRB%)
    • is a very good passer for a wing with a better than 1:1 Assist/TO ratio
    • Not an efficient shooter, but had shown improvement in his final 3 seasons with the 76ers before struggling in Indiana after mid season trade.

For all those on here - would you rather this kid as backup, or Wallace?

    Green and Wallace?

    Wallace and Turner?

    Green and Turner?

better rebounder for sure.  probably better defense.  but green has to be considered a better scorer.  but he only does that every 2nd or 3rd game
