NO WAY does Danny take a guard in this draft................

No Way does Danny do what any analyst would predict... guarenteed.

I thought it might cause some heads to explode.

I have a feeling the guy is no REAL analyst, looks like  Jazz fan to me.

Best I have seen Franklin mocked at is the late 20's or early secodn round anyway.

he does have some of the guys (reportedly) moving up the boards in his mock though.

Hell I'd take Plumlee over another Guard right now.

Looks like Schroeder has been 'promised' in late lottery / early first round

Right.  Celtics would take Plumlee if he's there....no way would they take a SG/SF ahead of Plumlee unless one of the projected lottery players slip.

Personally, I'm praying that Carter-Williams falls to us....and that players like Dieng or Olynyk don't fall to us.  I could live with Plumlee, though.

They have to go big..have to..and I mean BIG...6-11 or taller...Plumlee would be great if he's there...tall and athletic a must...defense with an inside game is what they need

Take the best player available.  Never draft out of need.  I would not pass up a talented player to draft a player who will be a serviceable big man at best.  I like Plumlee more than Dieng or Olynyk, but if Carter-Wlliams is there, I would want him.  I don't think Plumlee, Dieng, or Olynyk will ever be anything more than serviceable big men in the NBA.

Franklin is Giddons 2.0, would be a terrible pick and should go 25-35

I'm still more than fine swapping Bass and pick 16 for Perk and pick 12 to get a guy who can actually defend C's and protect/backup KG over a PF who I hope Sully and Green deserve more playing time then.

Moving up just 4 picks could be HUGE

If Ainge gets a lottery pick he might take a guard, a SG.

Shabazz is a good pick if the Celts get a lottery pick.

No thanks on him, the only guard I want is Williams, but I think that means a trade of Rondo......Gobert, Plumlee, Saric, Olynk......................one of them should be there when we pick, but I agree with Rame that we should try to move up......

If h'es 70% as good as his dad, he'll be a GREAT [pick late in the draft.

Body size and what I've read about his game he sounds like Pierce to me......Hmmm.

I am wondering why Okl would move down 4 spots for Bass?

I could see the Perkins for Bass trade working for both teams ,though it leaves Okl thin at Center (THUS the drafting of a center this year  so why move down when they can have dieng at #12?).

Gobert is exacly what we need.  Bigger wingspan than Shawn Bradley.  A shot blocker, a rim protector.  The kid can play and will move up on every mockdraft after his workouts.
