Even when RR is healthy, PP should be the man facilitating the offense. Frankly, one more reason to exit Rondo. THe offfense just looks better and more fluid as they play 5 on 5. Or we could just have PP do it with the 2nd unit or at the end of games. This team will be a hard playoff out! -

Not sure Paul needs it the whole game but he can create for others. Last 3 games he has averaged about 26 pts and 9 assists a game. Of course he has to's like anyone that handles the ball. -

Posted by OneOnOnePierce had 10 assists again tonight.Once the ball crosses halfcourt it's all about the system. Which Paul Pierce thrives in. -

What we saw today was an example of how much the big 3 have had to adjust to accommodate Rondo and his deficiency. It was vintage Paul on display today. What a treat!! -

Wait? Did we just reinvent the system here? PP running pick and role vs. dribble away the shot clock and drive. Pick and roll - yes. Clogged toilet- no. They are now doing the pick and roll consistently, unlike past couple of years, where it was a once in a while thing.
Someone seems to be revising history on what the "system" is/was!

Let's see? PP has 10 Assists -- Great. He dominates the ball. UGH! He has 5 T/O's. OOPS! He takes over 20 pops at the basket. How many to score 24 Pts..
With the guys he had on the floor, good show. With the team that wins chanpionships -- won't work. Rondo and Ray are staters, and the team works well when they all get about 13 or 14 shots, and the ball moves.
It was the "D" that provided the opportunities to look like Antoine Walker. Remember him?
Let's see how well it works with the pacers tonight? -

"Oh" some may say, "Now is a good time to trade PP after these last few games because it shows he's still a good player and would bring something in return". Well, it's a good time for all those who want to move PP to just shut up, sit down, and watch. Who else can give them what they need, highlighted so clearly recently, and who could they get who could duplicate his production when needed? Paul Pierce is a Celtics player for life. Get it? -

He is a good ballhandler when Rondo isn't playing. Ray on the other hand is very poor at handling the ball which is surprising for a guard. -

Not sure Pierce has take 20 pops at the basket in any game this year. Not sure I understand your post.
