Re: Asking Price For Gordon Hayward

and the hits keep coming for Fierce...

My suggestion of the Nets/Hawks pick in the teens this year and a 2015 1st round pick from the Celtics that is only top 3 protected is a pretty darn good offer it would seem.

There are numerous SG-SF's where the Hawks/Nets will be picking with the potential to be as good as Hayward in 2017. You know, right when they went to be making playoff noise with their top 5 picks in the next two drafts alongside Burke, Favors and Kanter and right when Hayward would be clogging up the cap space for one summer at 11 million and then needing another new contract the next one.

Anthony is a veteran big with two rings and a small contract off the books after a season of mentoring Favors/Kanter about how to be a winner has some value as well.

What a clown Fiercy is. Does he think I am in the Eastern Time Zone?

Proved ya wrong on yet another one Fiercy!

    Hahahaha

A small 2015 expiring contract and two VERY good 1st round draft picks are definitely fair value for Gordon Hayward, even if the Jazz are comfortable matching a 12m a year offer (which they obviously are not).

    You lose!

Hayward would be  a very important piece for the Celts, return to playoff revelance.  He is a underappreciated player that plays a good allaround game, basketall IQ considered.  KO, Hayward, Sullinger , Avery and Rondo would be a very good and smart team.  This team is possible next year and If they perfomed well, say 45 wins, then a trade could be made to up grade that would put us in contention for a title in 2015.  Rondo, Haywad, and Sully would make us competative next year.  I am not talking Eastern Championship but competative and gritty enough to win on any night.  Just a player or two short of competing for a championship.

Why would the Cs want Hayward?  His play is certainly not bringing Utah to the next level.

next level? Sully, Rondo and Hayward would make us a much more consistant team next year. A level above where we are now.  not the top level but on the way

So you wouldn't give up the Hawks/Nets pick this year (17-20 range) and our own top 3 protected 1st round pick next year (that becomes the Clippers pick in the 20's and the worst of our two picks in 2016 pick if it lands top 3)???

I mean I think that is VERY fair for Hayward and said why but some fools want to HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at it with no evidence why they think it is a roll around on the floor funny offer.

Gordon Hayward's shooting efficiency has suffered now that he's taken on a huge load of the team's offense.

hm, sounds a bit like a forward we already have on this roster...

He may bring it every night but, he's shooting 40% from the field and 30% from 3. We need a lot more than that.

Re: Asking Price For Gordon Hayward

I personally think Hayward is overrated by this board, his shooting seems very streaky to me. I think hes a wash compared to jgreen, and im not a jgreen fan. Id argue that hes not that much better AB (when you factor abs defense). We have enough GOOD rotational/fringe starters on a playoff team type  players on this team we dont need another one. We need to either trade away those type of players ( jgreen,ab,bbass, hump) for picks or bunch them all up with picks and try to get a very good player. No sideways trades.

Re: Asking Price For Gordon Hayward

Why don't the C's just wait until after the season and sign Gordon with zero compensation given to the Jazz?  If he wants to play with Coach Brad, then he may choose the C's.
