Give Big Baby an extension, say 15 mill for three years. He has improved his game and could be a big part this year and for the next 5 or 6 years. -

Posted by maryngaryIf Davis continues to play well I think other teams will offer him 6-7m per year. Just like what Paul Millsap got. -

Even if BBD plays well this season, Celtics management will most probably hold back on a contract extension while the possibility of a lock-out for 2011-2012 looms. Perk may face the same precarious situation. -

Big Baby is a free agent at the end of this season. It think he signed a 3rd year players option. I doubt if he will take that if he has a good year and his market goes up.
This dog gone lockout situation does mess things up for signing extensions. -

Since the Celts now have Bird rights with Glen, the C's should hope he has a strong year and can be worth a solid sign-and-trade to move up in the draft and take a bad contract from the team exchanging number 1 picks. Keeping Glen would be good, but it may be better to use any increased value to get a young, long shotblocker since Shaq, JO, and KG are all gone in 3 years. -
