    You can also add turnovers to that equation.  Assists down and turnovers up is not a good way to give yourself a chance to win.

    The offense can't set up properly without Rondo.

    Rondo is the key to the Celtics engine....I hope he is back for suday's game.

    Rondo or no Ronda the key is health.

    You can have Rondo but if Shaq - Garnett - Semih - Delonte - Jo are ailing,
       Reds is not lighting those cigars.

    Three years to figure it out? 

    Better late than never.  Some here still haven't figured it out as the repeated "They are better with Nate at the point" threads show.

    Agree with all about how valuable Rondo is to this team.  Without him the Celtics struggle.

    I don't mean this as a knock on Rondo because I'm already sold on his value, but they're really playing right now with no point guard.  If D.West was healthy, or they had another seasoned PG on the roster, the dropoff wouldn't be so great.
