Davis was a very similar player, but a much better defender.Davis had the flop down to a science.
Bass looks good at first but teams will soon figure out he plans to shoot every time down.

I don't care if he shoots his mid range J. He's one of the best in the leaugue. I do have a problem when he thinks he can post up guys and turns into Baby taking on double and triple teams and centers. -

Bass does shoot a lot, but generally he's open when he shoots. People run to Ray and Paul but he and KG get a lot of open shots in the sets we run. I'm glad he shoots and hope he keeps hitting. -

Bass needs to improve his shot selection, green light or not. He shouldn't force shots or shoot outside his range, which he has a tendency to do at times. Overall, he's a pretty decent offensive player. He needs to improve on his defensive skills, and go for more rebounds and lose balls. -

Yeah there's this other guy who used to play for the Celtics which Larry Bird called the Human Black Hole and that's Kevin McHale.But you wouldn't cut McHale down would you, oldschool? Why? Oh yes, it's because, uhmmm, how do say it again?....Ah yes, Bass is "an inner city thug". -

McHale posted down low and didn't shoot jump shots very often. 60% field goal percentage by Kevin so he was allowed to be a black hole.
Bass is a good shooter BUT he is not a great shooter. He just needs to pass a little bit more.
