what's wrong with Beasly isn't that he smokes weed. what's wrong with him is his attitude on the court and apparent lack of interest in the game of basketball.

Allowing medical marijuana is not condoning drugs ... weed shouldn't be considered a drug or at least it should be in the same class as alcohol, tobacco and caffeeine. There is exorborant amounts of ignorance when it comes to weed and its sad because it retardes the progression of society.

for a 6 foot 9 guy who is an alleged #4, his rebounding numbers are horrid and his shot selection is like knitting needles in the eyes.  don't think he's much on D either

"medical" marijuana is a complete oxymoron when it comes to these dispensaries divvying up "prescription" greasy green buds.  the "medical" part of pot really is hard to find in rolling up a doobie or snargling a 3 foot bong hit of some winnipeg wheelchair.

Mmmm.  yummy tar.  nothing medical about that.  the larger issue is that we will now have an entire class of "disability" people seeking to have gov't subsidies to go down and get a greasy sack o' weed from the "dispensary" to go back home and sit around and toke on the taxpayer dime.....   BIG PROBLEM with that movement!

Too soon to say that "disability people" as a whole will qualify for medical pot let alone get a subsidy. But in defense of med-pot I saw a special/documentary about a 3 yr old that was suffering from seizures once a week early on and by the time she was 5 yrs old she was having them 20 hours per day and in danger of dying soon. The parents were told about pot being used as a treatment and had success using it in a powder form put on food or in drink. The doc ended with news that today she is seizure free and it may have saved her life. So I wouldn't make light of the potential usefulness of medical pot and go off on a tangent about govt abuse/mismgmt at this point. In fact, it's the Feds that don't want to accept the States liberalization even if just for medicinal purposes.

If he could be had at minimum and pulled his head out his azz,he would be a steal, but both would have to happen. No denying from the neck down he has skills but like 9R9 said it ain't that he smokes weed is what him an idiot,he's an idiot that smokes weed. He's only 24 so he could mature and still have a decent career, could being the key word.

    Two thoughts:

The Celtics would have absolutely NO interest in Beasley... for so many reasons.

Weed would be useful for a few others on this board, especially one obnoxious immature last-word queen troll, who is probably stupid enough to reveal himself.  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Beasley really??????  Why would the C's want a problem child on a rebuilding team that needs to build character on a young team to achieve success.

it's called "SSDI", then doctor shop for a doc who will write you a scrip for you pot habit and the deal is done.  there are already people on disability with manufactured issues and getting gov't funded doobage.

just another form of relief.  no word yet on how they are going to adjust EBT cards for munchies...

and for the record- i have NO PROBLEM with people using the chemicals medicinally.  i have a relative who is on the candies.  she isn't a stoner / zone out / cheech and chong-er.

conversely, everyone with a big sack of "medical" from the dispensary is.  if you really look at who benefits from smoking grass, it's a small number of people- usually terminally ill.  lots of these kids so happy about "medical" seem awfully young and healthy

the proper treatment of the drug is to make a decision to de-criminalize or something like that, but FAKE "medical" users are a little bit nauseating to me.  don't think people won't "go that way" to get their consumption habit legalized

he got a big break in beaner back in the day.  he wasn't a screw up who let recreational drug use run him out of any basketball usefulness/career  like beasley or o-dumb though.  parish punched the clock and did yeoman's work on our championship 80's teams.
