    Big 4 lost their swagger when Perk was traded

    You can't deny it.
    They have not been as effective on defense or offense since that day.
    The only stat I need to prove it is their win loss record.

    They have a losing record since the Perk trade.

    How does that happen if we got the best player in the trade?

    It's because WE DID'NT!

    We didn't get the best player in the trade? Can you tell us who we got with the 2012 pick that came with the Perk trade?

    Yes, because clearly his 5 points and 5 rebounds per game would have made the celtics undefeated this year. For a mere 10 million per year he's the key..

    Seriously? you act like we lost robert parrish or dave cowens or russ..

    Perk is making 7 mil this year. JO is making 6 mil. Bad preference.

    Say no more, I totally agree witht he title of this discussion. Age may 
    maybe a factor somewhat, but the swagger left when Perk's trade 
    was made. Bad trades is the major factor to the whole thing with
    the C's.

    Perk is making over eight million.  In retrospect Perk as a component of continuity was important in ways I never imagined. Game after game I watched him mishandle the ball and lack any explosion in his jump to really play offense.

    Still with Green not playing and watching KG look like a broken player it may Perk was part of what made this team go.  At four years eight million it seemed to make no sense. In the years to come we will have our answer.

    perk ...posey...powe....baby-doll...pj...were the muscle that gored on "D"...

    now c's have a defense that.....snnnoooooorrrrrrrzzzzzzz............
