Do those salaries match up? I don't believe they do. KG alone would net us Bledsoe and Jordan.

    Re: big three trade

DA (or insert new GM here) could hold out until the eleventh hour for Griffin, but I'd be shocked if they let him go. Griffin and KG form a nice inside-outside front court and if you remove him from the Clips - not sure who would replace him. In that scenario, the Clips would probably keep Jordan and play Garnett at the 4.

    Paul/Crawford/Pierce/Griffin/Garnett or Paul/Crawford/Pierce/Garnett/Jordan

If they won't include him, then the Cs just need to stockpile assets like the Rockets did/are doing and start rebuilding. I'd take Jordan/Bledsoe/Butler (exp)/and draft picks for the above mentioned.

explain to me why the Clips would want to do this trade? just for getting Doc? It appears they would just become the present day Celtics, and that does not bode well for the playoffs or reg. season. I mean the Cs would make out like bandits......

    Re: big three trade

I think the Clipps would need to throw in Crawford:

    BOS: Bledsoe (2), Jordan (10.5), Butler (8) Crawford (5)

    LAC: KG (12) PP (16)

In which case they could buy out PP and use that to sign a big free agent ... but that doesn't make a ton of sense.

What makes more sense is a straight up KG for Bledsoe & Jordan. Celtics let Doc go for 1st round picks. Celtics buy out PP, he signs for a min deal.

I think at this point the Clippers would have

    Green (1.5), Crawford (5), Griffin (7.5), Butler (8), KG (12) ...

If Chris Paul takes less money, perhaps he can entice a bigger name free agent, such as:

    O.J. Mayo / Reddick / Ellis (for around 8-10M)

    and

    Smith/Millsap/Igoudala

or rack up the team with vets like Barnes, Brewer, Watson ...

I think for the Clipps, the prospect of having:

    Paul

    Mayo, Crawford

    Pierce, Butler, Barnes

    Griffin

    KG

With Doc as the coach ... is fairly intreging. Fill the team up with some well selected Vet free agents and you have a contender.

what do you think they would get out of an aging PP and KG that the Cs could not get from them? Esp. if Doc were to coach the Clips. He would run KG and PP into the ground.  I dont see the clips doing a deal like this.

IF the celtics could get that deal...I would take it at this point.

    C-Jordan

    C-Melo

    C-

    PF- Bass

    PF-Sullinger

    PF- Randolph or White?

    SF- Green

    SF- Butler

    SF-

    SG- Bradley

    SG- Lee

    SG- Terry

    SG- Crawford

    PG- Rondo

    PG- Bledsoe

    PG/SG- Crawford (from Clippers)

obviously we have to move  one or more guards for a big (center hopefully).

draft BPA at #16 this year.

my choices then would be to try to move Rondo to Atlanta for Horford.

draft Schroeder or Larkin at #16.

Trade Terry, Crawford or Lee ( in that order) for another big......maybe E. Udoh (mil) or Ed Davis (Mem).

    my revamped lineup would then be;

    C- Jordan

    C- Udoh

    C- Melo

    C/PF- Horford

    PF- Bass

    PF- Sullinger

    SF- Green

    SF- Butler

    SF- ????

    SG- Bradley

    SG- Lee

    SG- Crawford

    PG- Bledsoe

    PG- Shcroeder

    PG/SG- Crawford ( Clippers)
