The fact that DA let the local press know they tried to extend Rondo but were "unable" to do so "at this time" is troubling if you are a Rondo fan....I think this is similar to the Red Sox way of slowly building the idea that a favorite is up for grabs so fans won't be taken by surprise if they pull the trigger on the trade and also look like they're the bad guys...DA is setting the table for a move or at least opening up a plausible explanation if it happens...

Just like he did with Perkins! "We tried" so all the Rondo lovers are warned.... That is Danny's MO and history seems to repeat itself.

I forgot about that! You and Mel may be on to something here!!

i'm growing increasingly worried that Avery Bradley will never be a good enough shooter to justify looking at him as a building block for the long term.

his best value seems to be as an energy defender off the bench who might get hot shooting 1 out of every 5 games or so.

ie. yet another trade chip to a contender.

Bradley is shooting 44% FG, 36% 3pt FG, and 74% FT.

    He's only 23 years old.

If Ainge is going to trade Bradley it won't be this season.

Maybe in July, if AB and the Celts won't be able to reach an agreement for a contract extension.

Right now AB is part of the future plans.

Plus he is a great defender.

Is DA giving us a glimpse of the forrest through the trees? Rondo - Love - 2014 1st round draft pick - Hayward?
