    Boston Fans

    we are fans of our teams......

    we are Red Sox fans.....can't match up to the Yankees, based on championships and head to head records....but they are still our team

    we are Celtic fans....and Laker fans can't match up to our team, based on championships and head to head records...

    it is what it is guys & gals......deal with it...

    oh....almost forgot...have a blessed day....

    Hmmm...

    I'd say being a fan of the Celtics and Lakers is pretty much a wash in terms of modern payoff versus historical relevance. It's not severaly lopsided like Yankees and Red Sox for example. 

    That said LA has a questionable hockey tradition and almost no football tradition. There's no debate whatsoever that Boston is the better sports town. LA has the better weather, we have the better sports and combined sports traditions. That's not even a discussion.

    It isn't just the Red Sox that aren't close to the Yankees in championships.  Most of us will never see another team even get close to the Yankees championships.  Unless another team goes on a run where they win multiple championships in a short-time, the Yankees are always going to be the championship leader in MLB.
