It's great seeing Pierce and KG at it again with Lebron. Kidd is driving me nuts-the guy just doesn't seem to know how to utilize KG. When KG is on the floor the Nets play really good defense, when Kidd takes him out of the game the Heat score at will. KG is one of the best conditioned athletes in the NBA, he may be in his late 30's but he still has plenty in the tank.

Deron is clearly no Rondo. Thats why they almost lost to Toronto.

Deron is a weak defender and playmaker by comparison.

I agree. Rondo makes a huge difference but so does Bradley. Boston always gave Miami problems because the Rondo/Bradley backcourt would completely disrupt Miami's offense. Brooklyn doesn't have that. They have no choice but to let Miami set up their offense and pick apart the Nets defense (Which isn't very good when KG is not on the floor). With Rondo, Boston had dribble penetration and could break Miami's defense. The Nets don't have that. I betcha anything that KG and Pierce say privately to themselves that if they had Rondo and Bradley in Brooklyn they could beat Miami...

KG and Pierce between them, privately, got 8 points tonight.

Rondo would NEVER let that happen. Case closed.

Yeah, if we had all four, we would be the champs this year

If the four had the same supporting cast that the Nets have this year I think that it would be very possible. Miami is not as good as they were last year. Age and injuries have done a number on Wade. Bosh is not a bad player but he can be taken out of a game (ask San Antonio). Last year Boston had too many injuries to too many key players. You can't blame Pierce and KG for only scoring 8 points combined. Kidd just can't coach. Doc would always make sure to get KG involved in the offense, Kidd appears to have a preference towards playing younger and less talented players in his place. Pierce was doing great but was taken out of his game by Deron Williams and Kidd. At the beginning of the game, Pierce appeared unstoppable then the Nets went away from him. It was bizarre.
