The Celtics are not entirely comfortable with their current roster making a deep playoff run and coach Doc Rivers made that clear Monday by declaring the club trade seekers before the Thursday deadline. The Celtics are looking for a backup to Paul Pierce and the candidates are Cleveland's Anthony Parker, who is playing out an expiring contract, New York's Roger Mason, Washington's Josh Howard and perhaps Indiana's Dahntay Jones. Why yes to mason ? His game of late has not been so impressive . Jones can play D and Josh Howard is soon to return. -

Out of the whole bunch, I like Dahntay Jones most.
Does anyone know if what's left of James Posey can still stay in front of LeBron? Because sizewise Posey is a good matchup for LeBron... maybe Posey could evolve into an Artest/beat-them-up type defender... -

Dahntay Jones would help on defense but on offense he's not reliable. -

Mason is a spot up shooter that can't get on the court for the Knicks because Fields is playing that good. I think he's a better shooter than Wafer. -

i say yes to either d-jones or mason because they are better than a injured daniels not playing. Howard would be nice to but its just another injured guy on the team.
