In Response to Re: Bucks vs Celtics Game Thread : Rondo played well tonite, obviously. But why waiting so long in the clock to get something going? Just making it more difficult on yourself. And, to quote Tommy, you're giving the other team confidence.

Rondo had a DoubleDoubleDouble on offense tonight and held his man to 0 pts untill there was abt 2 minutes left in the game. please, PLEASE try to blame someone else for once..its getting ridiculous.

6 pt W?!
When was the last time we had a decent bench?
This team has a lot of flaws that come back to bite them in the 4th quarter.

Of course not. But, he is the conductor of the team, no? he dictates the tempo.
Why slow down?
If the Celtics lost this game then look no further for anti-clutch plays like these: 1:31 left in the 4th qtr.  Rondo Turnover : Bad Pass (3 TO) Steal:Dunleavy (1 ST)   33.9 left in the 4th qtr.   Rondo Jump Shot: Missed Rondo played great tonight because he had a triple double. But he's still anti-clutch.
Posted by Fiercest34
Ha ... you think that clutch is only a fourth quarter thing?  How about him being clutch for bring the team back from a deficit and getting a 15 pt lead... not clutch?

OK. Don't like to quote myself, but here goes: "That goes for you too, Rondo, with all your pounding."

Notice the "TOO" in there?

Don't go making this an alternate dimension, Fiercest.  There are already enough confused people on this board.

Doc on Rondo: "That was great. The 2nd half was the 1st time in a while where he ran our sets to score. He called 12 different sets."

So why just put Rondo name out there? There are a lot of other players you could have added.... even one more makes it more legitimate comment...
