    Re: Build Through the Draft

In Response to Build Through the Draft:
[QUOTE]Whether CP3 ends up with the Clips or not, I think it's better if the Celts don't force the issue and just keep our draft picks. The 2012 Draft is loaded with talent.  It's not anybody's fault that DH and CP3 doesn't want to come to Boston, for whatever reason. Ainge did his best. Even tried to turn JO into David West. http://nbadraft.net/2012mock_draft Celtics receive the Clippers' 2012 first-round pick, via Thunder (Eric Bledsoe trade) (top 10 protected in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, unprotected in 2016. In 2012, the Celtics would receive the lesser of the Clippers first-round pick or the T'Wolves' first-round pick (Marko Jaric trade)) ( Jeff Green trade 02-24-11 ) 24   Boston Mason Plumlee 6-10 234 PF Duke Even the 24th pick will land us Mason Plumlee, Austin Rivers' teammate at Duke. And after watching him play on TV, during the lockout, he has the potential to become a solid NBA player.

Actually this call needs to be made by the trade deadline.  If the Celts have to blow it up, I am sure that they can get more picks for Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.
