Buyout Question

Is tomorrow the deadline to buyout a player and have him eligible for the playoffs? Or is it the final day we can sign bought out players and have them eligible for the playoffs? I remember them being different days.

Players must be bought out by midnite tonight (5 mins) ... then, once they clear waivers they can be signed at any time up to the last regular season game.
