What about a trade, like the one that brought Garnett, send them a six-pack, the two rookies Wilcox Green etc.? Starting 5 Love Pierce Garnett Rondo Bradley.

You really think Minny will once again deal their best big man to the Celts? That's like lightning striking twice, so to speak.

That trade scenario will have depth issues, which would defeat the purpose for resting KG and Pierce more often.

That trade scenario is just that, a scenario. It's 100% sure that Kevin Love will not be a Celtic any time soon.

Their "best man" is Ricky Rubio, according to their GM. He is their max-contract superstar. -

Depth issues won't matter. A trade like this isn't possible until the summer. If Minny misses the playoffs again, Kevin's unhappy ... and if, lets say, we get to the Finals. Win or lose, KG & PP may retire together, hell maybe even JET. We could gut our team via trade to acquire a Kevin Love and keeping only our backcourt foundation of Rondo & Bradley and use cap room to build around that. I think thats the foundation of a good contender...
Also who knows, if ATL can't lure C. Paul and/or D. Howard they may want to rebuild and get rid of Smith/Horford.
Rondo, Bradley, Green, Smith, Horford ... not bad if you get some scorers and a legit rebounder off the bench. -

I agree that DH may go to ATL, but only BECAUSE of Smith........I don't think he'll leave LA if Smith isn't there. Read today that Smith wants to sign long-term in ATL anyway!! -

No need to trade for Kevin Love. Just wait for Love to become a free-agent in 2015.
