    I consider anyone playing in the NBA who isn't from the US or Africa, a Euro and I've heard plenty of others refer to them as that as well. So nitpick if you want to but the bottom line is he can't play defense.

    The trend is that more and more international players in the NBA. Is it because the franchises are making charity with them? Like football (soccer) in Europe, the NBA will have increasingly more foreign players who can attack and defend as an American players. biaslewis, I think you're a little xenophobic.

    I wouldn't say that South American players share the same overall tendency toward softness that European players have shown.  To me, on average, they seem to show more grit.
