i would keep KG sitting on that bench untill we need him.

I think Doc was telling him that. Good thing that Terry gets going, now Jeff Green. Let him play the entire 4th Doc.

We had a 20 point lead cut to half because we stopped attacking the rim. Four quarters!

Approximately 2-weeks from now, we will have an answer for guards that get hot, like K. Irving. AB!

Will that solve our jump shooting disease? Why do they settle for jump shots? Fatigue?

The Cs point guard has one rebound less than our center and PF....

The post was about perimeter defense. Why jump shots? Easier and less taxing on the body. Everything is great when they fall!

Shooting comes and goes. We had a great first half, attacking the rim at will and then they just start settling for jump shots, lead cut to 5.

The key word in your post is problems. Problems are usually solved one at a time! AB will partially solve one of the C's biggest problems, perimeter defense.

To your point, AB will not solve the teams rebounding or interior defense problems.

    In response to Fierce34's comment:

Why the Celtics settle for jumpers?

Because the Celts don't have that big that can score inside.

If you can score inside, the shooters will get open looks and the driving lanes are not clogged.

this is exactly why Terry doesnt get the looks he did with Dallas

wow. lowest forum game turnout ever...I hope Danny makes some BIG moves before the deadline.

    Collins 23+ min. 1 point 2 rebounds = pathetic

Bass, Lee, and Terry are a disappointment  Terry and Rondo are perhaps the worst defensive backcourt duo in the league.

Sully apparently isn't "all that" afterall...

and who knows whats going on with Green.

I think Doc and Rondo have created mental/confidence problems.  What other reason is there that 4 players are performing well under potential.  The team leader and coach are supposed to elevate player potential and get the most out of them.  This team is a downgrade from last year.  Move Rondo and Doc for starters.
