    Cavs vs Miami thursday!!

    Interesting to watch this game.
I don't watch other games except when the Celtics is playing but this time,
I will watch the game just to see the reaction of the Cleveland fans vs Le no ring bron.
They beefed up the security too.

Lebron should hire a platoon of heavily armed marines to escort him around Cleveland for the benefit of his own safety.
Secondly if I were Lebron, I would prepare my own food while in Cleveland. Those of us who have worked in restaurants know what some restaurant employees do to food of customers they don't like.

I will not be surprised if he stage an injury at Detroit games  (Dec 1)
He might call sick before a date with Cleveland.

He quit before, he can do it again.

Im happy Gilbert (Cavs owner) isnt being an NBA lapdog and telling fans what they cant do and going over the top. They can brings signs but no vulgarity... fair enough.

I bet if it was up to Gilbert, he'd hand out mace to the front row fans but he has to provide a good facade. Ya know David Stern is all over this and trying to get a parade in Lebrons honor.

Hopefully the real Cav fans get the tickets and are allowed to express their freedom of speech. Lebron has been boo'ed in many arenas this season but nothing like whats coming up Thursday.

I just hope he doesnt discover a mysterious injury that keeps him out. Wouldnt surprise me. Then again, Lebron thinks the world loves him and the booing wont be about him.

I definitely agree with you.  He definitely better be careful when traveling in Cleveland.  The Heat get booed a lot, but it probably won't compare to the reaction of the Cleveland fans.

    Hi,
Just an observation. I haven't seen our resident Miami troll, Jimmy42Jack, on any Heat related threads. Poor guy.
Oh well... the less trolls the better discussions.

    My two cents
(well, JimmyJack is a total and complete coward who won't show his face until the next Heat game - go look for him in the Politics forum, but that is a story for another day)

I think MeBron will NOT get a case of the Hellenic flu.  I think he will play and here's why - just my opinion.
The guy is totally delusional.  He doesn't think he's hurt anyone, he was well-loved in Cleveland for 27 years, and he did the commercial to "explain" himself.  I honestly think he believes he won't get booed.  Why should he get booed, he didn't do anything wrong.

The young man is in for a rude awakening.  And for what it's worth, he may stay in the locker room at half-time, or have his worst game ever as a pro, but he will play. He is so delusional  (how delusional is he) that he will probably even do the white powder "thing" before the game.

Like Che, I will watch this game, but confine the rest of the year to the Celtics!!

Actually, I want the Cavs to beat the Celtics on Tuesday at the "Q" (has anyone asked why the Celtics have to go to the "Q" twice before the Cavs even go to Boston?), so the Cavs can get to .500 (9-9) by beating the Heat on Thursday!  Tall order, but I'm hoping!

I read in the Cleveland Plain Dealer that there have been as many requests for media credentials for this game as there usually are for an Eastern Conference Final game!

I think we will witness the loudest booing ever given to an American sports figure in history -- probably louder than Babe Ruth got in Wrigley Field when he called his shot!

Great to hear from you again !  I definitely agree with you and believe this will be the key to victory over Miami.  It will be difficult for Miami to develop any rhythm during this game because of the reaction from the crowd.  It is also possible that LeBron doesn't play many minutes after the reaction that he receives.  Either way, it should be very difficult for Miami to win this game.

is it possible the cavs will overlook the Celtics game with wats comming up on thursday? I think so. Celtics might get an easy one and understandably so.

Everyone is going to watch thursday night.  and 90% of those watching will be cheering against the heat.  that is of course if the king with no rings doesnt fake an injury. he just might do that. i would be very dissapointed, but not the least bit surprised.

He'd better not fake an injury. Looking forward to this game. Wonder if ESPN or One will show this game in Australia? As it's not really going to be a good look for the NBA to show this internationally. Although I do doubt that Lebron is a household name here.

Either way, will be cheering for the Cavs, and I hope their fans have a fun night.

Lebron will somehow wiggle out of most, if not the entire game.  Maybe Spols will conveniently suspend him for bumping into him or breaking team rules.

I just dont see him facing the music the entire game.

btw, interesting article of Lebron and his ego

I don't think the Cavs will overlook the Celtics tonight.  This is the Cavs' biggest week for the whole year -- both games are on national TV (NBA-TV and TNT, respectively).  Two wins this week at home against the best team in the East and against the hated player who left them would make their year!  Also, who would have thought that at this point in the season, the Cavs would be the 8th seed and have only one more loss than the Heat!!!!!
