Did you see Fiere's post? Lakers lost because D. Howard is a quitter. Plain and simple. I dont care if Doc has magical powers, there is no turning a quitter Howard into a winner. CELTICS PASS ON D HOWARD!

Difference between the Celtics and the Lakers?

Answer: The Celtics are not quitters!

The Lakers were without their only true leader Kobe.  Who else would step up for them?  Kobe is the only reason that they made it to the playoffs.  The Celtics also have a much better coach.

Yeah, but all they have to do is get below the apron or deal to a team under the cap and take back picks and a player exception in lieu of an NBA ready player. So it's not like they can't deal him and get something back in return unless Howard's a #)($($&#$&#!

How can they get below the apron?

    Amnesty Kobe?

    HAHAHA

    Trade Gasol and amnesty MWP

Whoi cares.  Let the Lakers keep Howard and his $117M deal.  As others have said, he is simply not a winner and will drag down the Lakers in attitude, compensation and missed games due to injuries.

+1.. already posted that, but that tellds u everything! all grit and boys. on second thought, bring in howard with kg at PF and we may have something!

Impossible to get Howard if KG gets paid 12.4m next season.

Remember, the Lakers can't do a S&T with Howard because of salary cap rules.

This is in factual. One that doesn't take effect until 2014 and two the team that is receiving the player needs to be under the tax not the receiving team. They aren't going to punish a team trying to unload a player and get something for him.
