CELTICS FINALLY SIGN A DUKE GUY ! WHAT TOO SO LONG ?

Shavlik Randolph is the first Duke guy I can think of , to play for the Celtics in a long time.
I can't think of any Duke guys playing under Doc Rivers at least...
This is always struck me as strange seeing how the Celtics have always valued guys with character and intelligence , I know Ainge had been trying to get Shane Battier for years , but I can't think of any other Duke guys playing for the Celtics
Let's hope Shavlik Randolph can get some real minutes off Doc's bench !

Duke players on Aingeville C's no way no how. Plumlee was not athletic enough yet he scored 20 against Melo . I am so tired of Danny saying he drafts only athletes ,what Duke players are non atheltes??

Sheldon Williams was also signed by Boston (2009)....Dahntay Jones was drafted in 2003....that's about it I believe...

they were all in on austin rivers, wasnt he a dukie? unwritten statement here is they dont want "white" dukies! battier aint white. they also wanted grant hill. he may "act" white but he aint pigmentally white. got it? had kobe gone there, u think doc would pass on him? kylie irving anyone? come on...

we were all in on rivers? don't think there was any chance in heck we'd have drafted rivers.

The Boston Celtics are making an 11th-hour push to put themselves in position to draft Duke star Austin Rivers, son of Celtics coach Doc Rivers, according to sources with knowledge of Boston's plans.
