It does not really work unless you have someone like Kobe or Michael Jordan to bail out the offense when the triangle fails.

This offense is too complicated to learn in less than two months. Besides, Shaq isn't the offensive weapon he was when he played in the triangle back in 2000 so it wouldn't be effective.
The only area that needs grooming is the Pierce iso offense. Get rid of it. Pass the ball and make plays, don't sit back and rely on PP to shoot and hit the jumper. All this play does is run down the clock and PP doesn't know when to stop shooting if he isn't making buckets.

too complicated? ill break it down. first you have two guys just get out of the way. then you have the other two guys move around. then the superstar shoots.

The triangle offense is actually one of the most complicated offenses to master and make work naturally. It isn't just "first you have two guys just get out of the way. then you have the other two guys move around. then the superstar shoots." There are numerous cuts and offensive patterns to learn. Just google it and see what comes up. Every criticism says that learning the offense is time consuming and has a high level of difficulty to master. Do some research on the subject before you speak so condescendingly towards others.

Take a look at how well it worked for the Timberwolves last year. They had like half as many wins as the year before with mostly the same roster. I'd say it has more to do with Rambis than the actual offense, but the bottom line is why would Boston go to it? Especially with a pg like Rondo. It just wouldn't make any sense.
