Well, the Spurs got a massive fine for sitting their stars. So I think, the celtics want to avoid that. So, if they want to rest their players limited minutes is a way to do it and avoid Stern's wrath.
And give the fans who paid their hard earned money to at least see a little of PP and KG.
coaches dont think like that. Its always gunna be what they think is best for the team.

i stated a couple weeks ago that the C's should try to go after Bismack Biyombo. Now you guys are seeing wat the guy is capable of. I think hes EXACTLY what we need.

Second half is when we'll see how much gas is in the tank. I like the distribution in play time with 10 players at about 10 min. Gotta keep PP and KG under 25 min.

If Bass just used one hand to dunk that ball, that would've been 2 points.
Really mind boggling why Bass needs to use two hands all the time.

True, but only if we get another producive PF/C with size, like Gasol, and there aren't too many of those with rebounding, defensive and scoring skills available. Otherwise we don't go far in the playoffs.

It's like Bass is playing for the opposing team. He misses a jumper then allows Henderson to get a 3-point play. Wow!

We needed a lead going into the 4th Q. W're running out of gas. This does not portend well...
Take out PP and KG and hope the bench can hold the game close with 3 or 4 min left.

Because with KG, Terry and Pierce, Doc wants a player who is more comfortable planting himself closer to the basket. It is from spacing point of view.
