Paul and Terry were ice cold, Green and Lee were hot. So Doc draws up all the final plays for the guys who are cold.

Because Doc is stuck in the past...

OK, so we are better without Rondo?

Where were the shots when the Bucks started scrambling on defense?  Who has the ability to manage all that and get shots for the players?

Right - and that's why we've won so many games this year.....because our point guard has set everyone up and we win the game?  Wait - we've LOST more than we've won.....so I guess he's not the hero afterall!

But, its not like our defense was as good as the first half.  We did get a little laxed or tired or something.

Exactly, the Cs are a .500 team with Rondo or without him...they need help!

    Jump shot after jump shot.

KG gets the ball 10 feet away from the basket and ends up shooting an 18-footer because he used the step back move.

If the Celts don't get that big then don't expect too much from this Celts team.

The only way the Celts are going to get wins is if they shoot like last night and against OKC.

No inside-outside basketball means the Celts are predictable on offense.

Exactly...KG and Pierce are perfect examples of that...

What's good about this loss is it will make sure Ainge does something because this team needs another scorer/star player.

If Ainge didn't know that before this game, he's an idiot!  I'm sure he knows it.  But, the question is whether he can cut a decent deal with someone in Jan or Feb.

But there's nothing we can do because that's the way they play.

That's why I keep saying an Amare would be an upgrade over Bass.

If some here think this is bad, wait until next season when both KG and Pierce are another year older.

It is the way they play which is part of the reason that they are a .500 team at best...they need more than one really good player added to this team unless you can get a scorer who is a rebounder as well... Amare? Obviously an upgrade but his is injury prone and he aint getting any younger...

Looking at the boxscore its hard to see how we lost this game.  We held Jennings and Ellis to something like 11-32 from the field.    They just got a lot more inside that we did.  Of course that foul on KG when we were up 3 didn't help.  Horrible call.  Sanders appeared to be the huge difference as he dominated the boards, scoring and blocks.  Not sure how we can look so good at the first and just play horrible from there on.  Jeff Green was a minus 19 for the game.   Terry distributed well with 11 assists but couldn't throw it in the ocean.  We flat out have to get some more size in there.    Doc needs to shake it up somehow.

Is Green limited minutes due to Doctor's orders or Doc's coaching?

Interesting that he fills out the stats sheet in 22 minutes very nicely except for his +/1 at -19, ughhh.

Misses from Lee, Terry and Pierce in crucial game time conditions.  Boy, Celtics could use someone that can hit those clutch shots...oh wait they had someone but Rondo and management chased him away.

Smile.  And the haters don't want to admit we miss him.  Miami sure enjoys our mistake!

Yep.  How many times have we seen Pierce drive to the basket and throw a snappy pass to Ray for the game winner....man I miss those already...I got nostalgic tonight with this game.    It was so strange to see Pierce drive and kick it out to Lee or Terry for the winner...I also noticed Pierce's passes are a bit hesitant, like he doesn't quite want to pass to these guys. The passes Pierce used to throw to Ray were alot more decisive.

Man...another closed game lost for us because Mr. Clutch is gone...while the Heats are unbeaten 8-0 in closed games.  It's so sad.

This article sums it up nicely:

Just let JG just keep playing well...either Bass, Sully or Green will be good trade bait.

DA overreacted & gambled 2 yrs ago when he traded Perk.  He thought JO & Shaq would be healthy enough and JG would spell PP.  Gambled & tinkered with  the team's makeup and chemisty and came up short.

What he does this year won't be overreacting.  But what pieces he'll move for a big will  be the gamble.  I doubt he will but am not ruling out Rondo being a piece.  More likely Lee, Bass, and picks.
As for the timing, unless opportunity knocks, it'll be after AB is back on the court with a couple of weeks underneath his belt.

I don't see how Fab Melo could possibly be worse than Collins! Call him up and put him out there!!

Green needs to play 30 or more minutes every game, and get at least 12 to 15 shots! He's our only hope at this time of being a big time scorer!!

If New York would  give up Stoudemire for Bass/Lee/Green (2 of 3) I'd be all in because he feels multiple needs.
