No way you win with the horrible shooting of all four guards... 10 for 41...AB has lost it offensively, Crawford never had it from what ive seen...

Bradley never had it, last season he was a good cutter who got fed by Rondo. I know Ray is ancient but in his prime he was a better player than Bradley, Lee and Terry combined. You need quality over quantity to win big.

This loss is on Crawford, Bradley, and Lee. They are as weak as can be.  Bradley absolutely is not a point guard and is too small to be a two guard. He will be a weapon a smaller Tony Allen. But you will need a good two guard.

Guess we'll have to wait for the Celts to miss the playoffs before we get that much needed SG.

    Thanks Danny...

No, we'll have Rondo and Sully and a free agent next year.

Rondo and Sully, yes. But we're not going to have a free-agent next season.

Maybe an MLE free-agent, but not a 10m per year FA.

I'm assuming KG and Paul retire.  If they don't, we'll have KG and Paul to go with Sully, Green, Rondo, and Bradley and a MLE..

    Its a layup, Bass!  Please!

Bass is an ok power forward, but we won't win any games with Bass playing center.

Tonight though, we just could not hit our shots.

If only we ended each practice by shooting threes like the Knicks.

As weird as it sounds our best Plus minus lineup has been Bass at Center.

Our best plus and minus has been any lineup with Pierce and Green at the same time.

actually the /garnett/bass/Pierce/Green/Bradley combo is -6. only together 13 minutes though.

Out best plus minus lineup of the year, has been Bass/Green/(at the four)Pierce, Lee and Bradley.

The first lineup is a very small sample size. So hopefully it proves to be better.

Yes, this proves my point. The top line up in your link is,

    Bradley-Lee-Pierce-Green-Bass 93.8  1.24  0.96  +47   9   4   69.2

They don't include the current lineup. I imagine because the smaple size is 13 minutes.

Bradley and Lee have killed the Celtics the last three games.

    Re: Celtics vs Cavaliers 04/05/13

Our problem is an ongoing one. Winning rebound battles can many times salvage a bad shooting night. Lakers many time have shot 35-45% and won because they got +15 rebounds so even their mediocre shooters ala blind chipmonks finding an acorn gets them a victory.

Vs. Pistons we were outrebounded 52-34 which gave Detroit 18 second chances but we won because we shot 50% to their 36%. Don't need worry too much about rebounds when 1 out of 2 go in.I don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to know we can't shoot 50% every game so it'd be nice not to lose the rebound battle so drastically.

Alas, just the next game, last night,we are outrebounded 58-42 so 16 extra chances for the Cavs. Had we shot 50%, we'd won but as I stated above, can't do it every night and both teams shot 40% !!!

The Celtics have to win most of their remaining games to avoid the 8th seed.  I just hope that they can remain the 7th seed.  They have some tough games remaining.

With KG and Pierce back and Green starting, we are a completely different team than we have been all year.

    It will be interesting.

Yes, Kirk, you've been an advocate of starting Green all year....

He lost any arc on his shot...looks like he's shooting darts pool...

He needs to get under the ball instead pushing it....
