Coulda used AB out there tonite, that's why C's 2nd half of the season will be better than  the  1st.

KG 12 rebs. and Bass 11 rebs., Celts 41 total rebounds to Miami's 36.

The Celts are more athletic and improved, but there's just no stopping Lebron.

Yes, I love that!  Good sign of things to come.

Celtsfan, I LOVE our team.  But I don't LOVE KG's performance tonight, or Green's.

We're going to be a very good team if we can stop somebody.

We can score - that's for sure.

Petey, KG is not just a read and react guy.  He also gets into people's head.  He will just take a little time to adapt.  Some people take a little longer to adapt, some less.  He did not start playing 5 effectively until after the All-Star break last year.  He had already been playing 5 in games before that.

The disappointment was Green.  Lets see how he responds.

at least they did make the final score look more respectable....but overall a poor start to the season....they will be fine, but they didnt play well tonight, not at all.

Agree about Green.  He was the invisible man tonite.

But KG.  12 reb, 9 pts, 2 blks.  He is  another year older.  I'd say he was close to his normal  self tonite.

    Rondo = Classless

You should know. Your team went out against Dallas with cheap shots. Clown.

Agree.  I hope we don't have to write many threads about Rondo's "maturity" this year.

This Celtics team is going to be fine.

You are right. I figure that it'll take over a month for the new guys to get the new system down. It's strange and a little scary for a Celtic team with tons of new players to score over 100 points against Miami who has one of the best defenses in the league. Once the new guys learn the Celtics defensive schemes and Milicic and Wilcox return, Boston will be a powerhouse.

And you have a guy with a weak back as your avaatr in a canary yellow uniform with purple trim?  Hmm.

This is a bandwagon free zone. Wake us when LA is considered a legit sports town. lol

Dang Russ, these a-holes have nothing else better to do but watch and comment on our teams. What the ____?

Poor defense the whole way but a lot to like about tonight. I liked Lee out there, he and AB will be a pretty formidable duo. At first glance did Sullinger remind anyone else of Big Baby..lol

Hope the D improves.  KG let Chalmers walk past him twice...why?  Lee wants to play good D but following the ball and allowing Wade to backdoor him was sad.  Lots of easy baskets for Miami.

Give credit where due:  Ray Allen played an excellent game.

I am worried about Green. After "the trade" he was timid. Tonight he was timid. He has been timid his entire career. It is strange to see a guy with so much talent play so soft.

They didn't play D.  Then again, I'd be on my heels with that kind of officiating too. Lebron was never touched all night yet he got to the line enough. lmao

    So predictable.

Some things just never change. The CHeat still getting the B.S calls.

Good assessment of Lee's mistakes, Shines.

Goodnight, fellow fans.  Pull for Dallas over the Lakers (very little chance that Dallas wins).

    see you guys next game!

Clueless34 starts the season as always being DEAD WRONG AGAIN. Mr.99.9% WRONG as always...

But you refuse to give me credit my when I'm right.

Come on, GK, you're better than that.

Anytime you have the two best teams in the Association playing against each other it's great for basketball. The NBA finally has a rivalry in Miami and Boston that is worthy of the name. This is going to be a great season.
