If Rondo was working on his shooting before he came back, it didn't show tonight.
His mechanics look like $#*%. He needs to go back to Mark Price.

Rondo missed every attemptt, made 1 FT and had the key TO IN LAST 2-mins. C's 0-9 with the CAPTAIN on the floor in his last 9 games. Sad. GONDO!

when has rr been da man at the end? he never will b.. u have to hide him, which is y he cant b a superstar.. he nneds a kobe, jerry west  or a hardin tobail him out.. harder to hide a PG than a center.. basically u need to bench him for a LIn if in houston in crunch time

Okay, I, for one, am going to chalk Rondo's game up to "rust".

Isn't this due to rust everybody?  He was horrible.

Petey - +1 Rondo is experiencing rust, pyschological effects post injury, and is playing in a new system! He just does not look comfortable out there right now!

Trade Humphries if you want to make sure we have 3rd worse or possibly the 2nd worse record this year.

Vintage Rondo stroke tonight at crunch time... doing his favorite imitation of... you guessed it.... Gentle Ben Wallace.

Nice to see CapTripleDub finally get off the snide with a FT.

    Awesome!

Memo to Coach: Leave Pressey in next time to finish the game.

    Pud

Then I guess there's no way he ever gets a max contract...
+1.. he is what he is.. can help u get a ring but u need to pay other guys to carry the rest of the water.. he's a 13m max player on a smart elite team.. period! cant pay him like cp3, hardin, or even westbrook. thats not his level.. period! da marketplace will make it clear. if he wants to play on some loserville team, he may get paid like charlotte.. if he wants to guarantee wins, no way no how!

If you want to audition Rondo, this is not the way to do it.

rr is not this bad, partly rust and new system.. but his upside will never transcend what he was and has been.. thats not a max playa.. period! next level down, can win u rings but cant carry the water in crunch time.. period! he'll NEVER b a great shooter. is what he is and what he's ever gonna b at his best.. his old explosion and speed and timing will come.. but the never there j and FT never will.. if anything, he'll regress for he never had the muscle memory in those areas

Should have sent him down to Red Claws for a little bit before coming back up to the big league.

R WE GOING ANYWHERE?he helps the long term cause of losing better if he's playin on da big club.. win-win.. all can say what if.. coulda shoulda.. bottomline rr guarantees losses by playin at end and taking final shots or getting to FT... genius move by stevens.. next let gerald wallace take tech FTs.. hey about losing from now on! BS got his 6 year deal..
