We did a great job tonight.  A lot of determination on everyone's part.  Imagine how much better we will be when Sully learns not to push off when he's going up and doesn't get so many fouls.  He'll learn and be a Charles Barkley type rebounder!

Fierce, your trying to make an argument for Terry but the stats don't pan out.  He has done nothing more in the playoffs over his career than he does in the regular season.  Virtually identical numbers or worse because he plays more minutes in the playoffs.

If your argument is that Terry will play consistant through the playoffs and the other guards won't play up to their averages, you would have a better argument.  But I believe they will.

The price for Andy V and Cousins is too high.

An Amare or Pau Gasol will be good enough to make the Celts a very good team.
A wishful thought for sure.

I'm not sure about Amare, seems like a me first head case.

You 'da man!   Let's have you start the game threads instead of Petey if that results in wins from now on!

Check the posts this morning,  i said the Celtics win.  Never a  doubt in mind.  They were due.

Bradley was a game changer tonight and he was infectious.  It trickled down and everyone was playing D.

I told you Sully would be a double double machine if he gets the time.  He is PHYSICAL.  That was another thing tonight, the most physical game we have had this year.  Sully was right in the middle of it.  He also played some very good defense on West.

I don't care what anybody says.  KG just backed Psycho-T down low with two or three body bumps, gave him a pump fake and kissed a banker off the backboard for TWO.  I don't want to hear that KG can't post up down low anymore and "he's a jump shooter now".
psycho T is 6-8.  kg is 7-1.  i surely hope he can take him into the post
Acie, Hansbrough is 6'9" and 250 pounds and is one of the more physical big men in the game.  He doesn't back down to anyone.  So his height isn't the point.  It's KG being able to bang down low and be effective.  KG can get his shot off against 7 footers just as easily as he can against guys 6'9".  It's the banging part that KG tends to shy away from.

You cannot deny that Hansbrough is a fierce and physical banger.  If KG can bang like that and finish in the post against him like he did in the sequence that I'm referring to, he can do it against anyone.  Again, it's not about Psycho-T's height because KG can get his turnaround fallaway off on ANYONE.

Fierce, Amare plays no D, none. We'd be worse with him instead of our trio.

Gasol would be a good move only if he wouldn't sulk because he got traded.

But in reality I don't see a major move happening. Ainge hinted that our problems can be fixed internally. Maybe someone like Dalembert, a serviceable big.

With all due respect many of us have said the Celtics would be transformed by Bradley' s healthy return.  Congrats though what about tomorrow night?

fierce, your numbers stagger me.  amare is 20M a year.  cousins is not.  pau might be high teens, did not check.  but how would "amare" be "good enough" when you have yet to address how we get over the insurmountable barrier of trading with a team that is not just in the east, but in our division, right in our backyard?!!!

big trades like that just don't happen!

wrong.  kg is a player, like bill walton, who did not want to "be a 7 footer".  so they made it like that.  he is 7-1

Huh?  Acie, I play ball on the weekend and I'm 5'11" but don't want to "be a 5'11" tall player".

So, I'm 6'1".  Just because I say so doesn't make it so.

    So, although KG is 6'11", he's 7'1"?

Wow, sorry I must digress, the Clippers are having a dunk fest on the Lakers.  Chris Paul is killing Nash and Kobe, whichever one is unlucky enough to be guarding him at the time.  He made Nash look absolutely stupid on one play.

Not if u ship Terry out. Doc could give Rondo, Bradley and Lee plenty of time each and the Blur being the 4th guard. He can be instant explosive, doesn't need a lot of playing time.

Shipping Terry out is out of the question.

Having Terry will pay off for the Celts in the playoffs.

maybe you should look at the Mavs title run.  Look at the percantages and assists.
