Celts need to get another lottery pick for Rondo.
But why would a lottery team want Rondo?  Might make sense for contending team who needs PG.

I think Fiercy nailed it...only the Lakers might bite....or Sacramento wanted him earlier as well.

Lakers got only one player that they can trade (Nash).  And Sacramento can draft a PG with their pick.  It seems unlikely to me.

Yep, Lakers, Sacramento, and Detroit are the three that could do it and would want Rondo.

Lakers want Rondo and the Lakers have a lottery pick.

Remember, Lakers are always in win now mode.

That's why they gave Kobe an extension of 48m for 2 years.
I think I would do that, taking one year Nash contract and the pick.  But I thought they can't trade their 1st round pick in consecutive year.  Can they trade after Lakers make the pick?

Sacramento is also in the win now mode.

    They traded for Rudy Gay.

Cousins, Gay, and Rondo would be a Big 3.

Sacramento is in win now mode?  They could have fooled me if they did.  That big three is fools gold.

For us Celtic fans it's not a Big 3.

But down there in Sacramento, it's a big 3.

    HAHAHA
Yup and that's why they 'll stay down there. Lol

    Yup!

The Kings organization are in win now mode.

That's why they traded for Rudy Gay.

I wonder what they would look like if they are tanking.

What are their salary commitments for next year before adding Rondo or resigning Isaiah.  As you mentioned, include Rudy  Gay.

They will be over the cap.

If I remember, 66-68m if Gay picks up his option.  Large number for Sacramento.
