Not able to watch the game but checking the box scores.
Not to suggest it's all about the boxscore but what is the deal with Pierce? He doesn't appear, by the numbers, to be engaged or productive. I mean 5 rebounds and only 5 points.

There just moving the ball well and Pierce isnt really forcing anything. -

Maybe that is why we are winning. Pierce handling ball a lot at the top of the key usually means stagnant offense. They are playing a pretty good team ball right now. -

Terrence Williams keeps front-rimming his shots the last couple minutes.
Bass did a nice job drawing a foul off Morris. That was a Pierce-type fake. Well done, Mr. Bass.

Pierce just looks slow and out of it to me... with a quicker lineup he sort of looks out of place... btw Pierce has 4 fouls -

Celtics don't need Rondo anymore. As I've been saying all along, keep the nucleus together. Trade Rondo for an established big and the Celtics become title contenders. I bet anyone could average 10+ assists with this unselfish group.

Phoenix Suns look dreadful. We can't completely discount that as a factor in tonight's game.
Great cross-over layup by Crawford on the fast break, eluding a bigger defender. That was tremendous! I'm liking the new guys.

One thing to remember. Celts didn't have the length of Wilcox ang green against the heat in the ECF last year. Only reason Celts lost is because Bosh took KG out of the paint in games 6 and 7. As crazy as it sounds, Wilcox could be the difference this year if they get to the Heat, and Green's length too.

Don't forget that Pachulia didn't play in the entire series against the Hawks and Horford only started playing in Game 4.Against Miami, Bosh didn't play until Game 5.
