The fact that Jeff Green seemed to score at will is a positive sign that it should not be lost on anyone.  After the surgery and rehab he went through, it's fair to say that this performance is somewhat remarkable.  It's great for Jeff Green and gives Celtics fans a look into the near future.  Does it signify or guaranty a championship, as some believe is the only acceptable goal?  Probably not (not saying they won't or can't win it all), but it does show that the team has a potent scorer behind (or next to in some cases) Pierce.  It will open the post for KG or give easy inside buckets to Sullinger.  Doc has been twidling with different combinations, which means the bench is getting more playing time, but it also gives him solid thoughts on how to employ everyone's specific capabilities in different situations.  In this sense, it's been a great pre-season.  Congratulations on your comeback, Jeff!

I said this summer that a bench of Bradley (for now Barbosa, and no I didn't call that one), Terry, Green, Bass and Darko/Wilcox/Collins would be one of the best benches in the league.  IF Lee and Sully come through in their starting roles, we will, indeed, be tough to beat!
