What a huge mistake.

Bradley can't even make it through a season without getting injured

He is too small to play the two, and he can't play the point.

    Let someone else overpay him.

Bill Ingram from Basketball Insiders notes that the Celtics want o rebuild around Rondo and Bradley and will likely match mostly any offer he gets in the summer.

I have to believe he is in their long-term plans, since the plan appears to be rebuilding around young talent for the long-term. Of course, with Rondo still in the mix, it’s not entirely clear what Ainge is doing. Either way, the safe answer is they match him.
The author is all over the place saying different things from one sentence to the next, and Rondo is in the plan for sure?  He knows this how?  I am not saying he is completely wrong, but there is no way he knows unless he is Ainge. I am not even sure Ainge knows at this point.  It depends on what other teams do and what kind of offers Ainge gets.  Ainge said it himself, Rondo can had for the certain amount of picks and AB was rumored to be on the block.  We don't need a bad blog to give us this nonsense, the situation is anyone can be had for the right price, nothing we have at this point is so great that would be untouchable.

+ 1 if only he's 2 inches taller than he is, i would consider giving him that kind of money

Regarding Rondo, I think Rondo will be traded on draft night.
I am curious to the way you and maybe some people here always have it such that this particular thing has got to happen at this particular point in time.  Very bold, I just can't get myself to think like that.  If Rondo is traded, I hope they get decent returns for him.

Any offers made for AB will be matched.... the most ridiculous statement ever made!

Id speculate the Celtics might match an offer for AB if the offer is in the range of how the Celtics value AB...

Also, someone posted earlier about AB never making it through a season... hes got a good point.. This kid is always down for one reason or another..   questionable to base your future on him

On a losing team almost everyone has a negative plus minus. The only exception are players that play in garbage time.

Marshon Brooks has a plus 11 for the season. Does that mean he played well or does that mean he played a lot of minutes against inferior comp in garbage time?

Not a hard thing to figure out.

Right. And he got all of his plus-minus stats in garbage time.

This is why it is frustrating to talk hoops with you.

Almost all of Presseys and Brooks court time is in garbage time against bench players. Almost all of the Celtics starters plus minus comes against the other teams starters.

plus minus means nothing unless all players are playing an equal number  of minutes against equal competition.

It is just a fun stat, it isn't meant to compare a bench player against a starter.

Pressey has horrible Per, his FG percentage is 28 percent, and if you average his stats over 36 minutes he is averaging 6 points, 6 assists, and 3 turnovers. He is having a truly horrible year.

The fact that the Celtics score more point than other teams in garbage time does nothing to change that.

It's the best stat there is.

It shows the complete effect of the player on the team.

Bass and Wallace have the worst plus and minuses on the team. Humphries, Olynyk, and Sullinger have positive plus and minuses. All five have started and come off the bench.

You really don't understand the inherent varaibles of the stat do you? Or that the sample size for Hump Oly and Sully are much larger?

I am wasting my time trying to explain it to you?

You can use it for Bass And Wallace and Hump and oly and sully because they have all played a lot of minutes against varied competition. Pressey hasn't.

Pressey is a backup and a good one.

    His numbers prove it.

Bass is another good example. He looks good on paper, but in the games he plays small and I don't know how many times I have seen him stand there and watch someone shoot a layup. When you see Bass go in the game, you can bet we are going to go downhill.
