I'm not going to complain if the Celts get Kevin Love.

But my first choice would be the Celtics ending up with a top 3 pick in this year's draft.

That's the best long term solution IMO.
If they're trading up, it won't be into the top 3.

    Orlando and Utah perhaps.

They aren't trading up into the top 3.

Love won't help this team win a championship.

Trading up is great but it's almost impossible to do. The top three teams need those picks and there is an apparent dropoff after it.

Good for Ainge to try but it's likely futile.

"And Anthony wants no part of Boston or Wee Devilman PG."

That's good, Anthony stinks. He's never won anything. He needs the ball in his hand so he can lose games.

Rondo is not the reason there's no other options besides Love. The reason there's no options besides Love is because, aside from Anthony, he's the only guy out there.

Rondo is not on a long term contract right now, so Ainge's job is to recruit guys to play here whether or not Rondo is here. Rondo really doesn't factor into recruitment until he signs a long term deal. But there's no one to recruit anyhow, which is why Ainge is focused on the draft. And whoever is drafted will be happy to play with Rondo for a year.
Agreed...lol...dump Rondon't now and reap the benefits of a team you can mold to play the way the coach wants because if you don't he leaves , you get nothing in return, and the end result of no FA's remains the same.

Randle foot surgery, bad for him, bad for us cause no one else will take him ahead of us to protect other potential targets.  If this major I would not take him at 17

Randle's foot injury is even more reason to try to get a top 3 pick!

If we can't land love I'm for trading up for Parker, I would love to grab another pick and grab McDermott maybe trade rondo to the suns or something if we can't trade him for Monroe.

If you're gonna roll the dice on a player like McBuckets over Stauskas then I'm all in for LaVine over McBuckets ... Much more upside despite the risk of busting ...

For a player that wasn't even ranked in many recruiting services' top 50 coming out of high school, LaVine's ascent this year was astronomical. Despite the national hype around Arizona's Aaron Gordon, LaVine is the prospect that we consider to be the Pac 12's best. While he struggled late in the season, LaVine garnered a good deal of national exposure. He's got a highly intriguing combination of explosiveness and shooting ability. He is a player who will likely take some time to become a contributor, but his upside is among the very best in the this draft. Probably the draft's biggest boom or bust pick.

Yeah it's a toss up for me also man, I like laVine as we'll I'd take either or.

    Orlando was targeting Exum.

Now that Exum will be a top 3 pick, Orlando might be willing to trade the #4 pick for the #6 pick and another pick.
