    Re: Celts vs. Nets

The way we are playing I don't know if DA has told the team we are supposed to tank as it did not do vs. Heat. But like a Boxer paid to throw a fight, maybe they are told to look good for the paying customers until the end of the 4th Qtr. (Ha!)

haven't seen Pressey out there the last 2 games. Did Stevens promote him to assistant coach?

other then his defense, that's what I love about AB. Loves to get the team off to quick starts, offensively. Where's Sully tonight?

"should have lost to the Heat and beat the Nets."

Umm you realize Lebron didn't play right?

And also the Nets fighting for playoff position.

A motivated Nets team is better than a non-motivated Heat team without Lebron.

Also, we're not tanking in that intentional losing games meaning - few teams are.

The way teams are tanking is by getting rid of good players. We did some of that but Philly for example got rid of more good players than we did.

Stevens is coaching to win with the talent he has....

not only did i realize the obvious, but i also realize that Miami has two other max contract players and were 2-0 without Lebron prior the the loss to the Celtics.

I was thrilled that the Celtics beat Miami.  I am always happy to see Miami lose to anyone.  I didn't really expect the Celtics to win against last night.  It is also better to see Miami lose so they don't end up the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference.  Not having home-court advantage could make a difference in the playoffs.  I would like nothing better than not see Miami in the NBA finals this year.
