Boston will be good enough for the 12th pick next summer!

What a mess that organization is.

If the NBA went back to 8 teams, maybe the Celtics could win again.

    BOING..................

Yeah, Fierce. I know Ross went alot higher then I thought. He was projected around 13-18 range though. That's why I was hoping we could get him. Trade-up scenario. But, didn't happen.

Fierce - going way out on a limb here - BUT - has an undrafted player ever been included in rookie of the year discussions? Fav is getting better by the game!!

Only three Celtics players have won the NBA's rookie of the year award! Heinsohn, Cowens, and Bird!

Fav will be a quality backup Center.

    [/QUOTE]

Sorry but why do you keep insisting he is a back up center as if there are quality centers on more than two or three NBA teams?  Fav could be a quality #1 center with a quality team around him.

It's only pre-season. New coach, new players. Let the season unfold.  After 15-20 games, we'll have a pretty good idea what we have.  Let's enjoy the process.

I'm in a "om shanti om" mood today!

Red Sox in 2013 World Series; Patriots in 2014 Super Bowl!

    Re: Celts vs. Raps

don't think Fav is a starting Center in the NBA.

He's going to have a long NBA career, but as a backup Center.

Agree to an extent.  Hes  not a starting center on most teams. But since we have no legit centershe should be starting on this team.

He has proven to be able to finish with BOTH hands. Unlike every other big on this team he can actually roll to the rim effectively on the pick and roll while also being able to pop too. He has even shown the ability to hit the 3 pt shot (even when he misses they are half way down).   For the negative, he is  at best an avg rebounder and defender. Seems to struggle scoring on post ups , fades too often.
