You think CP3 goes all the way to Asia for goodwill? His good friend, The Black Mamba, is the Lakers best talent scout! You heard it here first!

The league owns the team. You will get him for your teams garbage on the bench and some used balls. Everyone knows he is going there.

Same old broken record, by the same clown - he cannot go anywhere right now.  IF the lockout lasts a  year, he is a UFA, and will be unable to go to the lakers.  If they want to trade him, goodbye Bynum!!  Or Gasol!  Of course, "they" could take
Odom, Walton and Blake...... NO, the league would never allow that, forget that one!!

Wow that is amazing, I just read an article from Liechtenstein (one of the smallest countries in the world) saying that Howard, Lebron, and D-wade are coming to Boston for free.

I guess we should believe everything that we read Undecided

They need more than Paul, the fire is gone on that team. Kobe is now at the jump shooting stage of his career, and Gasol seems sick of Kobe's show. Don't see Mike Brown cutting down the nets anytime soon, that's for sure.

Signing CP3 is out of the question. The only way the Lakers are going to get CP3 is if they offer Bynum or Gasol for CP3.

Kobe doesn't have any friends-which is why he had to give himself his own nickname-"The Black Mamba".

    Which nobody calls him.

That's almost as comedic as greenkiller's prediction that the Fakers front office will get Howard, Wade, and Bosh through "creative accounting".

The black mamba will recoil and hiss with disgust with the next Fisher and/or Farmar wannabe whipping boys. You heard it her first!

In Response to Re: Chris Paul to join the Lakers:
In Response to Re: Chris Paul to join the Lakers : rame, the Celts lost 4-1 to the Heat in the semis. It was not even close. The only time the Celts won was when KG had 28 pts and 18 rebs. Lebron and Wade dominated Pierce and Ray. Our Big 3 got beat by the Heat's younger, faster, stronger, and quicker big 3. Rondo with an improved shot? Last season was Rondo's 5th season in the league and he has yet to shoot 70% from the FT line. It's not a given that this season Rondo will improve in the shooting department. After 2008 I thought it would only take Rondo more or less 2 years to develop a decent outside shot. Until now he hasn't done it yet. This debate can go on forever. But if you agree that this current Big 3 is not better than the old Big 3, Bird, Parish, and McHale, then why would you expect this current Big 3 to do something the old Big 3 and Reggie Lewis couldn't do? It was a 3-4 year window and it was there for the taking in 2010. It was just unfortunate that KG, Ray, and Pierce couldn't rise to the occasion.

I'm not Rame, but I'd like to make some points. Rondo's outside jumper was better. At times he has looked like he was about to turn the corner shooting free throws but then regressed.

What people don't realize is that Rondo was in extreme pain last year. If he's 100%, we have no worries at pg.

The current Big Three are finished. They were never as good as the original Big Three. It's just a total hatchet job on the meaning of big anyway. The 80's Celtics were all set for bigs. McHale was Kevin the Fourth. The Celtics were a big green wave. They could fall behind by ten or twenty, but at some point everyone knew they would make runs and probably still win.

This current team is the opposite. They might get off to good starts, but eventually you know they are going to fall apart. It's strange how everything can be blamed on Rondo, the Big Three, Big Baby, Krstic, Jermaine, cheerleaders, et al, while Doc is the greatest thing since sliced bread and now makes more money than any other coach in the NBA.

The time to change this team wasn't this year or even last. It was when KG got hurt, and we learned he'd never be the same. He has healed, but now he is old. Ray might not eat pancakes and spaghetti for breakfast, but he's cooked. He'd be best as a 20 minute microwave off the bench. Same with Pierce and KG. Thankfully Danny set it up so it won't go on forever like when the original Big Three calcified into the 90's. It's just too bad we didn't have a better coach who may have been able to milk another title or two during this time period.

Not so fast (unless you're being ironic).  They let Memphis hand Gasol to the Lakers, why not Chris Paul?  The league owning the Hornets actually speaks more to retraction than it does to moving Paul to a specific team.  But the idea that they won't manipulate a dispersal draft or approve trades in favor of certain teams (the Celtics not among them) isn't so far fetched.  Who among us trusts this league?

While you might not agree and might have more knowledge about how Doc operated (or are a closet Laker fan trying to destroy the Celtics' single biggest advantage in signing elite free agents by destroying Doc's reputation), I'm happy that Doc is PERCEIVED as the best player's coach in the league today, so maybe some veterans will be inclined to sign here in Boston instead of, oh let's say, with Mike Brown in L.A.

If CP3 is on the Lakers opening day Roster I would leave the board. So if he is not would you (crying nation 32 ) leave this board?
