    C'mon Sheed!

How can you NOT come back. Our frontline is shaping up. You come back and we'll have a wall of big-men that even the Lakers would have a hard time dealing with. Say it with me Sheed: ONE MORE RING.

Trading Sheed's contract will help the Celtics more than Sheed coming back to play again. Right now the Celtics already have JO and Shaq at Center and KG and BBD at PF. And when Perk comes back the Celtics will even have more depth at the Center position.

Who's your dream trade for Sheed's contract Fierce?

    Truth

    A SF is more important than a 6th body @ PF-C

Zactly right- if we had cut Davis loose into a consistent minute / role rotation once he came back healthy last year instead of running the Sheed entitlement program, we would have been much better off.  Sheed barely pulled it together to preserve some dignity for the playoffs but it won't happen again.  And remember his back going bad too once he started hustling....

No way, I highly prefer getting Sheed back. We are more than set in the backcourt. Getting Sheed back would be gravy on top of gravy and allow the frontcourt to keep minutes VERY LOW and give good insurance against injury. JO,KG,Sheed,Shaq,Davis and eventually Perkins gives you probably one of the most formidable frontcourts of all time.

I mean our backcourt right now consists of PP,RA,RR,Donkey,MD, and that your mopup players as Avery Bradley,Harangody,Von Wafer.............thats a pretty darn deep team.

This team is a proven and STRONG 10-11 deep right now. In reality it could be a STRONG 13-14 deep without question.

we are not set in the backcourt, unless you think having 3 SG's and 1 SF, with both backup SG's only worthy of 8th-9th man status over the 6th or 7th man SF we need, to be ok

Danny needs to make a run at Battier and if not Posey. We need that quaility forward who can score and play D.

too late for gerald wallace.  he's under contract long term for over 10m a year.  these owners are not going to spring for lux tax and i don't think that team is going to give up wallace, he's the best (only) player they have

There's no SF other than Ron Artest out there that can give Lebron trouble, so forget about it!

You have to use a team concept defense against dynamic slashers.

The great jump shooters are never bothered by a hand in the face, and if you get too close, they bait you into a foul.

So you only want a SF to stay in front of his man. Pierce, Daniels and Wafer can do that.

team concept, sure that is important, trusting Wafer/Daniels on Sf's in the playoffs? That will drown championship hopes...

Don't boost Artest up thatb high either, he's lost a step

Posey's defense on LeBron and Kobe in '08 was just as good as Artests on
    Durant and Pierce this year

this team needs that type of guy bad
