Why would Brad want to go  back to College?  He signed for 5 years, and so far everyone loves him here and nationally.

Also remember, Doc does not want to do rebuilding, why would he want to come back here?  We are not going to be a team for front-runner to coach next year, whoever is coaching here will actually have to develop players and coach.  Not just let the good veterans win games for you and be there to do interviews during nationally televised games.

Ainge hired Brad for the long term.

    Everyone understands that.

Sterling will be out in LA, why would Doc want to leave?

Anyhow, no, doc is not good with developing teams, everyone understands that also. :) That's why he left. Boston won't have improved enough by then.

Doc is from the Phil Jackson mold, of taking great talent and coach 'em up

It won't happen, but should Brad decide to leave, I wouldn't mind Doc returning in the least.

Well said. No on a Doc return. He went for greener pastures and the Celtics have their coach now.

Not that I condone what Sterling said, but as an American doesnt it bother you to think he could be forced to sell based on something he said in his own home. Do you want everyone fired for what they say behind closed doors? Why wasnt john thompson fired when he said he would only recruit black players? Dangerous precedent you would apparently like to see...

Phil Jackson double digit titles and Doc one and that was laid on a silver platter by DA's buddy McHale!  Please Phil Jackson is the greatest coach of all time and to compare Doc to him is a farce!

Right, according to ESPN's expert say's it happened in Cali and can't be forced to sell, but he would eventually be forced to sell(if he drags his feet) via sponsors and other owners.  Cat's out of the bag and this dude is TOAST!

Mployee made an interesting point.... that maybe the dish rag ho was in cahoots with Magic to set up Sterling for his racist remarks causing enormous pressure on Sterling to sell the Clippers.... then the poster boy victim in this storyline, Magic Johnson, rides in on his white horse (no pun) ..with the entire nation cheering his purchase of the Clippers franchise to save the day.. What great theater ..

Maybe someday after we have rebuilt a contending team and if it seems like brad cant get us over the hump (think OKC thunder if they don't win this year.)

Having been a successful college coach, Brad is used to working with young men and with Sully, Oly, 2 draft picks this year & 10 more in next couple, I prefer him to stay. Look what GS has done with # 1 picks, probably best scoring front court in the game, Curry & Thompson, and H. Barnes all 1st round picks. They are giving Doc's Clippers fits w/o injured Bogut who can stop Griffin.

With a lot of players this year who would be on the bench on many other teams, we were competitive in many games. He never tanked & maybe 2-3 more losses we'd been in top 3 but that's not his nature...he's a winner !!!
