    HAHAHA

Whoever thinks D'Antoni is doing a great job is as incompetent as Jimmy.

Mr. Pringles allowed Kobe to play 41 or more minutes in 7 straight games. On the 7th game, Kobe tore his achilles tendon. That's great coaching?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I agree.  Maybe if the Lakers were eliminated from playoff contention the coach would have been fired.  We have to see how successful they are in the playoffs this year.  If he was a better coach they would have won more games.

The best part? The airheads at ESPN floated the idea of "coach of the year" for D'antoni for getting his team to the playoffs. WHAT A JOKE!

It is obvious that ESPN has great admiration for the Lakers for some reason.   I am not really surprised that they would say this about D'Antoni.  The Lakers would be a much better team with a different/better coach.  What did he do to even be mentioned as coach of the year?

Don't you guys know?  The T-Wolves are salivating over the thought of trading Kevin Love (3 years at 13 mill) for Pau Gasol ( 1 and 19) so he can have a Spanish playdate with Rubio!

Then, after next year, when LeBron joins the lakers, they will be fine!!

Nothing wrong with those contracts. Garnett is 15-8 rebounds in small minutes. Bass has been 15-8 over the last month and is rounding into form and Terry is better than nash at half the price this point in his Career.

    They are all bad contracts.

Terry is not good at anything at this point.

That is a matter of opinion.   Until this week, Gasol had a bad contract.  Garnett is NOT a bad contract, neither is Terry.  The other two are, IMO.  Yours is different.

    Nash is a "good" contract?

"D'Antoni lead the Lakers to a 28-12 record over the last 40 games. "

Right, but he also ran Kobe into the ground and now Kobe's gone. I don't see how you can put a positive spin on that.

Lakers record would be even better if he hadn't benched Pao Gasol, still one of the top 10 or 15 players in the NBA. No excuse for that but D'Antoni came up with one. When Kobe went out your Mikey was finaly forced to change his offensiive scheme.

D'Antoni's a bad coach, there is still a chance that he will be fired because I don't think Howard will play for him next year. So if the Lakers want to keep Howard there's a good chance firing D'Antoni will be the price.

I'm hoping the Lakers advance a couple rounds and D'Antoni stays on as you will never win anything that matters with him. Nor has he ever won anything that matters anywhere. Keep trying to spin how this is better than hiring Phil Jackson who knows how to work with big men. It can't be done.

and they had their choice too....and they picked Mr Pringles...I mean who wants a hof, proven, winner of a coach when you can have Mr. Potato head and or Mr. Pringles...

Especially when you have a thick headed superstar that won't listen to either of them...

The last time Phil Jackson had 4 superstar players, the Lakers went to the Finals.

D'Antoni had to wait until the 82nd game of the season to find out if the Lakers would make the playoffs.
