daniels and pavlovic?

why are they even taking up roster space? they should be waived, cut, dumped, whatever. we should make room for some young D-leaguers to see if we can find any diamonds in the rough.

true. he's very solid at posting DNPs. come on, he's terrible. we gotta use those deep bench spots for young player tryouts. we are not a contender. we are rebuilding.

    Posted by kaktug
if pp goes down, you dont want daniels around to play some minutes, you want a rook in the d-league? daniels is like a 3 string vet minimal wage qb. pav has done the job when he plays. both guys are very good role defenders and in the case of marquis still a good driver to the hoop and able to create his own shot and pass the ball, and still is a good all-around player. pav van hit the open 3-pointer. pietrus is better than both, you cant play every one. can only go 9 or 10 deep.

Pavlovic has been solid, he is not someone that is worth nothing. Someone will want him.

    Doc's funny sometimes.
I wonder if Sasha is in his doghouse, like Moore.

Sasha fills his role perfectly. I don't think Daniels has recovered fully yet but he's can be a stop gap role player in a spot, though if was going to get a player from the D league player it would be our old pal GG, but the Nets just did.

If Pierce goes down, playing Daniels isn't going to help in any way (the team won't be better and we also won't be developing young players).   If Pierce goes down, I say pietrus gets the minutes and we split back up duties with a combination of Bass and even JJJ.   To me, there's no reason to EVER play Daniels.  He's a waste.

    Posted by Fiercest34
That's his only value - to balance out a trade in dollars because no one is going to want him now that they've seen him trying to come back from his injury and being a complete flop.

    Re: daniels and pavlovic?

if PP went down, the season would be even more over than it already is, so there would be no point in playing over the hill backups like daniels and pavlovic. include moore in that as well. the remainder of 2012 would be (and probably already should be) for checking out potential young bench players for next year. we're not a contender this year. no reason to pretend we are a player or two away from being champs. it is what it is.

Yeah, but Doc doesn't roll like that. He'll play the vets to the very end...Been his biggest downside as a coach.

    Re: daniels and pavlovic?

First of all, Pavlovic is a solid player who knows his limits. I thought he was great when we needed major minutes from him. We won most of those games although someone is sure to note that the competition was limited. Dooling I can't figure-- what does he had that Bradley can't, besides ill advised poor shooting?
