    What???

4-4 record and you're already correct that the Celtics will win 41 games and make the playoffs?

So we don't need to play the remaining 74 games?

    Apology accepted, Captain Needa.

I think the earliest Ainge can make moves is Dec. 15, when Keith Bogans can be traded.

    [/QUOTE]

ainge is smart enough to prevent that streak

Ainge has made some huge mistakes in recent years. He's pretty good at drafting young talent.

However, this is not his plan. His plan (which is correct) is going after Wiggins (or as high into the lottery has he can get). I count on Danny to make it so.

DA is not quite the genius yet.

He still needs to flip Rondo for something more than a ham sandwich.

Why would we trade Crawford now, when all evidence seems to be that he's an emerging star? And green for Deng?

Really, trade our two current best players for quis teague and deng who probably won't play another full season in his career?

If J.C. can play as effeciently as he did last night more often, He's going to play himself into a GREAT contract.

He has the potential to be a lead pg on a .500 team or a top role player on championship squad.

I don't think that is his plan and I don't think it is correct.  I think the plan is to play the young guys if they develop slowly,  We end up in the lottery and we get Wiggins or equivelent talent.

If they develop quickly, and we are in the playoffs, we use the assets and drafts we have accumulated to trade for a star.

If they develop and hit their ceilings and look like they could become stars, we hold on to them, and build around with numerous draft picks.

Danny's plan is accumulate assets with multiple paths to success.
