The Lakers were granted a disabled player exception for half of Jordan Hill's salary for the rest of the season to either pick up a free agent at that salary or to be used as part of a trade.
Can the Celtics request a disabled player exception for $5.5M, half of Rondo's salary and how would it benefit them?
This would allow the Celtics to sign a FA up to that amount or used the $5.5M as part of a trade (like trade for a player making $5.5M?
Where is Fierce?

The injury to Rondo happened after Jan. 15. thats why we cant get a disabled player exception. I think Fierce had a post on this earlier.

Jordan Hill was injured Jan. 6, Rondo got hurt Jan. 25. So no, Celts can't get a disabled player exception for Rondo's injury.

Don't forget that Reggie Lewis was the only player that has ever died under contract that Stern did not allow to hardship his salary off our cap space, ever. Remember Sunday NBA/TV, an NBA owned station was saying the Celts should trade KG for Gasol to make the Lakers relevent again. STerns is a punk and has never forgiven The Celtics for drafting and resigning Larry Bird by loopholes in the NBA rule book that were exploited by Red Auerbach. Thats why we didn't get to last years final and lost game seven in LA.

Why would I need an exception from a worthless piece of trash like you?
Like I said, it was unfortunate that the tsunami took the lives of the innocent while the one who should've been taken away is still talking nonsense on a forum for Celtic fans.

? I guess you missed the 12 hour interval between posts or the 900 to 6696 posts. Seriously thats what you got ? OK if jingoistic logic and inuendo is all you got,I guess go for what you only know.
I guess your still upset about Gay, sorry it just wasn't in the cards. If vindictive posts are your therapy, more power to you.

Like I said, my #1 option is Paul Pierce to OKC for Kevin Martin and their lottery pick from Toronto.
The Rudy Gay scenario was just my 2nd choice.
And I was not the only one who wanted Rudy Gay, there were others who preferred having Rudy Gay on the Celtics.
