    Can't be done. We have nothing that Orlando wants. Maybe in the summer of 2012 because we have the cap space to give DH max money.

    Agree with Fierce - we don't have the assets to trade to Orlando given what they want.  

    However, it has nothing to do with Dwight Howard having control.  He could be traded to the C's and then we make our move to convince him to stay after he vie's for a championship.  His rebounding and inside play immediately make us a contender and we offer him more money at the end of the season than anyone else can offer.  He plays this year wherever they trade him - he has no choice in that.

    But, we don't have anything Orlando wants.

    Or Danny could pull another Ray Allen move that would entice DH to come here on his own accord. If Orlando doesn't trade DH by the trade deadline then a window of opportunity reopens for Ainge.

    Of course that means he'd have to put our best asset back on the trading block once again (Ugh) to get DWill here and then get DH to pull a KG sans the 10 for 1 trade.

    Other than that the only way Orlando does a trade deadline deal with the C's is cause they want our rookies and picks ... and maybe a do over in the Bass for Davis trade ... In which case Danny would oblige ... Haha!

    Just like you thought DeAndre Jordan was just an MLE player and Donald Sterling is a cheapskate?

    I have to agree that it's worth a shot at offering the MLE to Jordan and put the pressure on Sterling ... He's a cheapskate indeed!

    True but you can't combine "exceptions." Hence, two TPE's cannot be combined and the MLE cannot be combine with the TPE. 

    Just offer the MLE and see what the Clips do ... we have nothing to lose other than time and the only other center worth the MLE is Dalembert and he'll get more than that from another team leaving us vet minimum or LLE guys like Brown, Gray or Collins. 

    Only downside in offering the MLE to Jordan is that while we wait for LA to match or pass somebody could sign Crawford and we'd be stuck with the MLE and fewer players to go after ... sure Humphries might still be available and would help but NJ has bird rights and an owner with plenty of $ that can easily match or offer more if they intend to retain him.

    I have to agree that it's worth a shot at offering the MLE to Jordan and put the pressure on Sterling ... He's a cheapskate indeed!

    No like this .... You think Austin will be living in his Mom's crawl space like you once he leaves College (real college - not community bs) ... He should forego $2.2M and hope he gets picked by the C's .... That's the dumbest and most hilarious post I've read here in a year!!! Priceless!!! How bout another!!!

    Did the Lakers and Kobe have any regrets about the 13th pick of 1996? 

    You really think the Rivers family is all about the money?

    The 4th pick will get 3.7m in his rookie year. The 18th pick will get 1.48m. Unless Austin Rivers becomes the #1 pick in 2013 the salaries are not that far apart. And if Austin Rivers becomes an All-Star then the rookie contract wouldn't even matter because he'll get a big contract anyway. 

    That's just you not being smart.
